Which One Will You Choose?
Contrasting
3 Generations, Israel 1, Israel 2, Church Today
The promise to Haiti that when
the deliverance come, from his people all of Haiti will be restored to full
fruitfulness in every area.
The Lord gives us practical
outline to align ourselves with the principles of entering into our
inheritance with the picture of the
people of Israel entering into the Land.
The story is actually about three generations.
·
The first generation going through deliverance
from Egypt and failing to enter into the land
·
The second generation after the first died in the desert and were
entering into the land and take it from the giants.
·
The third is the church today.
It
contains both warnings and steps for the church in Haiti to take their
inheritance and make Haiti a nation that will glorify the Lord in all the
earth.
The
first generation. Moses
was called by the Lord and told that the Lord had heard their cries and sent
him to deliver the people. God did many
miracles, the ten plagues that hit Egypt and its gods without touching the
people; The deliverance from the
Egyptian army when they walked through the Red Sea; The manna when they were hungry; getting a
river of water twice in the desert and leading them with a cloud by day and a
pillar of fire by night.
God described the land of
inheritance that it was fruitful and flowing with milk and honey. So when they came to the border of the
promised land. The Lord told Joshua to
send twelve spies, one from each family, to scout out the land and bring back
the intelligence report.
They came back with evidence of
the big grapes and verification that it was just as the Lord had said. There were also strong warlike people
including the Nephilim or giant demon
men like goliath-3 meters tall and backed by demon power.
Ten of the spies shook because
they looked at themselves and feared the demon men. They declared that these were too powerful
for them. The forgot the Lord who
delivered them from Egypt. Their report
spread fear through the whole camp. The
Lord was angry and said how long with they DESPISE
ME and not believe I will do what I say.
The Lord brought on them the very words of fear and curse that they said
the enemy would do. He gave the inheritance to their children.
Two spies, however, were men of
a different spirit and FOLLOWED THE LORD
FULLY. They declared that the Lord
had removed the demonic protection and would deliver them into the hands of the
Israelites if they would only obey him fully.
They were 100% committed and followed the Lord fully. They were the only one out of the thousands
in the camp that received their inheritance.
The lesson here is, "Which
one will we choose to be like?" Caleb a man who followed the Lord whole heartedly
or the ten spies that see the Lord is not big enough or will not do what he
said.
