As we look around at the circumstances of the day things seem pretty crazy. It would be easy to allow fear and anxiety creep into our live to destroy our peace, our lifes and our health. The world seems to be crumbling around us.

I have to constantly remind myself of several things:

He is God and nothing else is. Not my understaning of Him. Not another religion. Not the powers that seem to be at the helm.

He, Jesus, is the one who saves and nothing else can. Not the government. Not my financial stability. Not my own strength or abilities.

He is the Creator of Heaven and Earth. Not some accident over long periods of time.

He is the Truth, The Way, The Life. Not what ever seems to be right in my own eyes or just for me or any other individual. He is not like a man that He should lie.

He is the same. Yesterday, Today and Forever.

He has said that He has called me by name. Iam His. When I pass through the waters they wouldn't overflow me, through the fire I wouldn't be destroyed (though I might be refined).

Elijah said,"If God be God Serve Him."

Joshua said to choose life or death. Choose God or run after other things that are not God.

Every day I have to choose whether I will live to serve God and trust in His faithfulness to keep me, give me wisdom and walk according to His promise and character, or choose to follow things with my own eyes and feelings in reaction to the world controled by the enemy of our souls.
