Haiti update

Photos and updates on water relief in Haiti,www.edgeoutreach.com including articles fro the Courier Journal in Louisville, KY. I will be on the team going Feb 4-13. We have heard from one of the key pastors we work with. While his house and the orphanage he works with is destroyed, the people are ok with minor injuries. Shelter, food and water are key needs, however, the marines have landed in Leogone and some aid is getting through. Why is it important to know God as He really is?

  Trust   in   the   LORD   with all   thine heart;   and   lean   not   unto   thine own understanding. Prov. 3:5-KJV These are chaotic times when evil seems to be rising up everywhere.  More and more we realize that only God can bring a lasting shift and  salvation. We have to trust Him to do more than man can do.  Trust can only come from a source that has proven to be solid, good, and with the  knowledge that it  is really for you not against you. Many of us say they know God, but do we really know him as he is or do we  place our trust in a God that fits our understanding. God says in his word that in our day he will shake everything that can be shaken so that which  cannot be shaken will remain. A Kingdom Viewpoint and Kingdom Results I have often taught on Caleb and Joshua as people of a different spirit.  They saw the bigness of God rather than the natural barriers of the giants in the land. Most of the Spies saw themselves like grasshoppers and they feared the giants in the land the Lord had promised.
