God is faithful to answer prayer.
Have you ever wondered if God hears your prayers? You know God is real, but it like he is living on the other side of the earth. I have been there even though we have taught on the believer's authority and spiritual warfare for years. This week the Lord brought me back to Prov. 3:5,6. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight."-NASB
The Lord is so good to give us those experiences that show he hears your prayers. One of his names is Jehovah Roi -the god who hears.
We have a grandson with a learning disability. He is 20 but functions on the level of a fourth grader. However, his spirit is pure and the Lord has given him the gift to see angels and demons. He has a job at a local grocery store stocking and helping people with their groceries.
On Halloween night we received an urgent call. He was seeing demons all through the store around the candy and decorations. He had told them to leave in the name of Jesus, but they kept coming back and he was a little fearful. He called and asked us to pray for him and the situation. We prayed a warfare prayer to bind them and negate their influence. Shortly after we prayed, He called back excited. He said," The demons are here, but it is like they are stuck and can't move. There are also bars around the candy and decorations. There are angels walking all through the store."
Years ago my wife and I were prayer walking through a Guatemalan village that was noted for the second largest witchcraft village in the whole nation. The local host church sent people from their congregation to translate and direct us to areas that needed prayer. We entered into a house where an infant was really sick. The household was not a Christian one. Three generations surrounded us as we prayed a simple prayer in English to bind the powers of darkness and bring healing to the child. Nothing seemed to change, but one of the local members of our team stayed as we left the house to return to the church. During the team reports later in the afternoon, there seemed to be a lot of excitement about our team. When I asked about the excitement, our translator said that the mother of the young child had given her heart to the Lord, because of our prayer for her child. God was at work when we had no clue that anything was happening.
If you have given your heart to Jesus and accepted his gift of salvation, Then you can say as the Apostle Paul said. "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me." Gal 2:20-NASB
God always hears the prayers of his family. Jesus loves his creation and longs to have us in his family. If you haven't given your heart to the Lord, ask Him to show himself to you. Acknowledge that you are separated from him and ask him to come into your life. He is faithful to answer your prayer and help you walk the life of victory that has eluded you.
