Come All You Are Thursty

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good and you will delight in the richest of fare." Isa 55:1,2-NIV
The month of Elul is a time of reflection and repentance in preparation for the Day of Atonement when the sins of the nation would be cleared away.  Rejoicing and praise would then be celebrated for seven days.
Praise for Creating Disciples: A hunger for the Lord drew 350 pastor's wives and women church leaders to a women's conference that GCWM gave in Les Cayes, Haiti.  Many were burdened down with cares of life and ministry.  Some were even showing signs of demonic oppression.  Hunger and thirst for the Lord brought them from remote mountain places and small cities and towns.  As repentance and deliverance came to them all, spontaneous worship and praise broke out.  Free in the Lord, they were then free to minister in their own congregations.
Personal Reflection:  What is weighing you down?  Ask the Lord to reveal the areas where you have allowed the flesh and the enemy of our souls to weigh you down. Ask Him to free you from your own works. As you are freed, enter into His works with worship and power. Give praises to Him for what He has done.
